Been battling a sinus infection over the past month and still trying to find the time to get more active on my blog postings. Meanwhile I built my first HTPC and like it a lot.
My plan is to get the downloads online before the end of this week.

I have been down the last few days with the Flu. It went through my house like a nasty plague. My girls had it, my wife and now I have it. I think I am past the worst of it. Hopefully this week I will get a chance to work more on the site.
So many viruses out there, and many Antivirus programs to choose from. I am an MCSE and work daily with many computers and have done-so for the past 15 years at my current job.
We have done many tests with everything from Nortons, McAfee, Panda, BitDefender, AVG and MANY more. Here is your first clue:
Many cable companies give you McAfee for free. This should tell you how poor the product is. If it was worth anything, it would not be given away freely. I have rescued many users who have been infected using the “latest” McAfee software, fully updated, yet still infected.
Nortons, McAfee and BitDefender are also bloatware, and process hogs. Bloatware is a term used to point out what our upcoming stimulus package has. A lot of FAT. More stuff in the application than what is needed. Pretty and large menus, and lots of other junk which only slows your computer down.
NOD32 from www.eset.com has the best in low-processor utilization protection for your computer. Its a steel bear trap that does not slow your machine down, yet catches viruses much better than Nortons or McAfee ever could.
I finally decided to bring RastaWorld out of the ashes once more. Over the years I have posted custom software I have written and much more. Now I have moved on this Blog type site with hopes to soon post my software available for downloading, and to also post useful and useless information for anyone interested.
